Detection Summaries: AI-Powered Transparency Into the SOC

Behind the scenes, Blackpoint’s Security Operations Center (SOC) generates enormous volumes of data from alerts, logs, investigations, and response actions. As part of our ongoing commitment to help MSPs accelerate remediation, improve transparency, and build client trust, we’ve introduced a new feature, Detection Summary, for our ITDR and MDR users in CompassOne.
HOW BLACKPOINT USES AI TO SOLVE PROBLEMS
The Detection Summary uses AI to summarize our raw SOC notes and alert data into clear, consistent summaries that answer the questions that matter most to our partners:
- What happened and when?
- How did Blackpoint’s SOC respond to the event?
- Why does this matter to me and my customers?
- What do I need to do as a result of this incident?
We use AI where it helps to solve a problem. By delivering straightforward, client-ready explanations of security activity, detection summaries help you cut back on back-and-forth with our analysts, accelerate time-to-remediation, and build trust with your clients.
GETTING STARTED WITH DETECTION SUMMARIES
The Detection Summary will appear automatically in CompassOne under Detections. Go to Detections in CompassOne and click on any detection to view the summarized context and recoomend steps you can take and share with your client.
